If you “put your hand in the till” or take “cash under the counter”, or engage in similar tax evasion tactics, this is easier to detect by the IRS, than in the past, with the use of computers. Comparisons of profitability of similar businesses to yours, and the use of other confidential techniques, will eventually reveal discrepancies and evaders can be found out.
