How Do you - Use the Negotiation Process
Negotiation is a process which involves the parties in dispute discussing all issues with the objective of finding a mutual agreement. A lot is made of the need for negotiating skills in handling this type of problem resolution.
At the end of the day, the best skills that the parties can bring to the table is honesty and being able to bring a clear picture of not only the problem but also suggestions of how to come to a fair resolution.
Many people look at negotiation as being a process which allows them to try and persuade the other party to accept their point of view. Negotiation is not really about winners and losers but about a win-win situation for each of the parties concerned.
If you want to arrive at a win-win solution then you need to do a little bit of homework as there are techniques that can be applied for a satisfactory conclusion to conflicts.
