How Do you - Survive the Critical First Years
Your success in getting your business off the ground and running profitably will depend a great deal on your own ability to get things done and to work well with other businesses and people.
This means that you need to put emphasis into how you manage your business and make the transition from being simply an entrepreneur to an entrepreneur-manager.
The success in your first few years may depend on your performance as a manager as well as on your skills and experience. During the first few years of business you can easily get yourself caught up in numerous tasks but not perform or complete one particular task as well as you should.
Be careful of this trap. It is easy to get swamped with detail and miss the big picture.
Take a fresh look at your planning and follow the basics that were laid out when you first looked at setting up business. You have to continually ask yourself the right questions and continue to compare your performance with the plan that you had set out.
