Business Goals - Must be Well Managed
A business will only run well when it is managed well. The manager has to be aware of the goals of the business and then set about reaching those goals by taking the appropriate action. No business is able to run itself. It has to be managed, because along the way there are decisions that have to be made that require somebody in the business with the authority to make the call.

The key to good management always starts with setting proper goals. These goals need to be clear and specific and usually for a period of 6 months, 1 year, 2 years or 5 years. How the goals are to be attained requires a plan. That plan needs to be set out well in advance of commencing the business and it should be detailed enough to enable the business owner to compare with the actual results of the business from day to day so that it is possible to measure just how well the business is going.
