Website content refers to the text, graphics and structure of your website. Content is one of the most important aspects of your online presence and can make or break your site. Careful planning and thought need to go into what content is added to your site as the online environment is a little different from the offline environment.
1. Keep it Simple
There is nothing worse than visiting a website and having to scroll through pages of detailed information. When you are writing content you need to insure that the information that you include is clear and to the point.
- A good idea is to search through the net and look at various websites.
- Think about the ones that you considered being good and the ones that weren’t so good.
- What was it that made you enjoy the good websites? Was it that you could understand and read the content without being frustrated by content length?
- Did you get the information that you needed? Was there enough information provided about the products or about the company itself?
